Azadi Ki Amrit Kahaniyaan

Azadi Ki Amrit Kahaniyan is a series of animated short films celebrating the lives of extraordinary Indians who have made a real impact — from innovators and changemakers to quiet revolutionaries shaping the nation’s future. Commissioned as a special collaboration between the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and Netflix, the series was part of India’s 75th year of independence celebrations.

We brought these powerful real-life stories to life through thoughtful 2D animation — with each film crafted to inspire, inform, and connect with audiences of all ages. From script to screen, the visual language was designed to be emotionally resonant and rooted in Indian storytelling sensibilities, while keeping it contemporary and accessible.

More than just biographies, these stories shine a light on courage, innovation, and the many forms patriotism takes today — reminding us that real heroes often walk among us.
